Indulge in the local products of Parga

Parga is an area full of olive groves and thus, if you visit the city, it is worth sampling the local olive oil which is of exquisite quality and has a great flavor.

Another product that Parga is well-known for is soap and more particularly, olive-based soap. This can be attributed to the large olive oil production in the area.

Apart form olive groves, farmers here also grow orange trees and lemon trees and you should not forget to taste their produce during your visit as the local oranges and lemons will captivate your senses. Parga also produces certain alcoholic beverages such as ouzo, liquor and kumquat.

What’s more, if you love seafood, make sure that you visit a local seafood restaurant and relish a meal of fresh fish cooked in the Greek traditional way.
